Our piano instructors offer weekly, 30 minute private piano lessons starting at age 4 up through adults.  The piano is an excellent instrument choice for someone new to music because it demonstrates music literally spread out in front of the student’s fingertips.  The keys run in a predictable method from low to high and from octave to octave.   The beginning lessons provide a strong fundamental understanding of reading the notes and music.

Once the basic music theory and reading is understood, students move on to play songs that they choose.  They are also encouraged to join in on the rock jams offered in both children and adult versions right at Jack’s Guitar Garage.  This migration from private lessons to group music  pushes the student’s learning into a musical community and, with practice, is shown to branch the musician out into a more expressive and creative player.If you already play piano, come on down and play with us.  All skill levels are welcomed!
