Simon is a graduate of the Percussion Institute of Technology in Hollywood, CA and of the Stockholm Music Conservatory in Sweden. He has been playing drums since he was 5 years old. 
 

He spent 12 years in Los Angeles as a recording session drummer, and has toured with numerous professional artists.   He also played in Las Vegas for a number of major productions in and around the strip, including the famed “Legends in Concert” and the “Rat Pack”.  Simon moved to the east coast area to continue performing with “Legends in Concert” at Foxwoods Resort and Casino as well as perform with a variety of local bands in the New England area. 

 

Aside from teaching here at Jack's Guitar Garage, Simon is a freelance drummer who gigs regularly with multiple bands. His touring experience has taken him worldwide. He enjoys sharing his knowledge from performing and playing with other musicians with his students.
