MATT
CAPORALE
Guitar, Piano, Ukulele and Bass Instructor
Matt Caporale is a life-long metro west resident who has been teaching guitar professionally for the past 10 years. At the age of 12 Matt started playing his father’s guitar. By the time he reached high school, he was playing at weddings and in rock bands while studying music theory and jazz with a Berklee College of Music graduate. After high school he went on to Berklee and graduated with a degree in Music.
Matt’s professional career has given him a broad knowledge of many musical styles and musicians. Most notable is his tenure on the Carnival and Holland America cruise lines where he played with various show bands and orchestras.
“This was a wonderful time for me as I had the opportunity to jam with musicians from different cultures and learn about their musical techniques,” recalls Matt.
Matt has established himself as a very versatile musician and teaches every style of music from rock to jazz and anywhere in between. He has been teaching at Jack's Guitar Garage for 9 years. He teaches Piano, Guitar, Bass and Ukulele. His goal as a teacher is to give the student a full understanding of the instrument while learning the music of their liking.
