GRACE LARRABEE

Piano & Voice Instructor

Grace Larrabee is a graduate from Clark University with a BA in Psychology and a double minor in Music with concentrations in Performance and Technology. Grace is a classically trained pianist that started learning at the age of 7, and piano has been her primary instrument ever since.  Her early teenage years saw her pursuing additional instruments including voice and guitar.  Grace has been involved and performed with several choirs, vocal ensembles, and other performance based groups for the majority of her music journey.

Grace has taught piano in both volunteer programs and as a self-employed instructor. Some of her other musical experiences include musical leadership in church worship, Christian conferences, and a solo recital performance which included pieces from Beethoven, Chopin, and Lange. Grace's educational background gives her an all around perspective of music. Combining her study and  passion for music and psychology, Graces’ positive learning environment carries over to her students.

FAVORITE TEACHING MOMENT

Watching as a student finds his or her voice through perseverance no matter what age or obstacle they have been presented with. As music instructor/teacher, seeing this improvement of a student’s hard work paying off is one of the most, if not THE most rewarding of gifts and feelings.
