Billy graduated from University of Hartford with a degree in Audio Engineering. Music has always been his passion. He started playing drums at age 11 and then guitar and bass at age 12. Billy has played in many bands since high school. In his freshman year of college, his band won a chance to play the Spring Fling music festival at his school.
In highschool Billy was in a drumline under the instruction of Jack. Billy has played in many bands since highschool. In his freshman year of college, his band wona chance to play the Spring Fling music festival at his school. Currently Billy is the drummer in a local cover band and plays guitar acoustic trio that performs regularly.
While studying music in college, Billy found that he enjoyed teaching his peers just as much as he enjoyed performing with them. This lead to an interest in becoming an instructor upon graduating college.
BIlly started teaching at Jack's Guitar Garage as a teacher for the Summer Rock Schools. Soon after he began teaching private lessons as well. He has been teaching at Jack's Guitar Garage for 6 years. Billy teaches Drums, Guitar, Bass, and Piano. He enjoys teaching children of all ages and has experience teaching many different genres as well.

My favorite part of teaching is when you show your student something new their eyes light up in excitement when they realize the possibilities. That spark of creativity is a wonderful thing to witness, and I strive to give my students that opportunity every day.
