JACK SHANAHAN
Voice and Piano Instructor
Julie Jacobsz graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy with a diploma in Music Composition and followed on to Berklee College of Music where she obtained her degree in Film Scoring.
She has been playing piano since age 3 and singing since she can remember. In addition to her film and composition studies, she played and sang in a number of bands, performed regularly in local Boston venues and even started her own 20 piece afro-fusion band.
Throughout her musical career, she has taught composition, music theory, vocals and piano to her colleges and private students.
Julie is very excited to be teaching at Jack's because sharing music with others is a passion and she believes that music is a language we all can speak and relate to.
