Yoder
Piano, and Voice Instructor
Deanna Yoder has experience teaching from preschool all the way through adulthood, as well an extensive performing career. A native of Pennsylvania, she started vocal training at 8 years old. After receiving national accolades as a chorister in high school, she earned Bachelor’s in Music with a dual focus in Music Education and Vocal Performance at Mansfield University. She continued her studies with a Masters of Music, Vocal Performance at Binghamton University of NY. During both her Bachelors and Masters studies Deanna performed on national and international stages and won numerous awards for her “vocal mastery combined with dramatic stage presence.” Additionally she taught music theory, group voice and piano lessons, as well as individual music lessons to students and community members.
Her focus is now solely on teaching. She spends her days as an Elementary School Music Teacher in Worcester and is excited to start teaching with Jack’s Guitar Garage. She believes that music gives people tools of expression, communication, and emotion. Her deepest hope is that her students will confidently express themselves in their music.
